While the main library building is closed for renovation, we've opened a mini-library with thousands of books, and our book club continues!

For April, the book club will discuss The Sympathizer - the 2015 debut novel by Vietnamese American professor Viet Thanh Nguyen. The novel tells the story of the South Vietnamese Government in 1975 and subsequent events in American exile in Los Angeles, through the eyes of a half-Vietnamese, half-French undercover communist agent. The Sympathizer won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

Book club will meet at about 10 am on the last Thursday of each month, in the mini-library in the garden cafe, if there is enough space, or at the British Club cafe next door.
