Bangkok's longest running monthly house and techno event is back at GLOW with our first event of 2018, kicking the year off in style with a special collaboration with Singapore's legendary Interstellar collective. Together we're bringing you none other than Swiss techno maestro Opuswerk (ARTS/Krill).

Opuswerk’s reputation, once a well-kept secret behind the Swiss Alps, is resonating beyond those peaks throughout the world. Either in the studio, behind the decks, or as his HISS:1292 collaboration project with François X.

Opuswerk's sound, striking and poised, could be the soundtrack to the world seen by futuristic architects like Superstudio, Yona Friedmann or Zaha Hadid. His way of transporting crowds far away from the dance floor, has made him a sought after name on the European club circuit, regularly playing clubs like Tresor, Mosaique, Transmediale and even the Montreux Jazz Festival.

His solo and collaborative productions, released on labels such as ARTS, Krill Music and Dement3d (as HISS:1292), have earned him a place in the finest of DJ bags; from Donato Dozzy to DVS1, Peter van Hoesen to Anthony Parasole, and Daniel Avery to Dr Rubinstein.

Educated by dub and drum and bass, his approach to producing heavily relies on hands-on techniques. His dedication and love for music and gear drives him to spend most of his time in the studio, exploring new sounds and techniques.

Supporting Opuswerk on the night will be Berlin Beat's resident DJ The Outsider and Interstellar's frontwoman Cabbit, making sure the floor is ready for lift-off before handing the controls over.
