To mark Europe Day 2023, the European Union in Thailand, in partnership with Museum Siam and EU Members States, invites you to the EU Sustainable Food & Craft Market 2023!
Launched in 2022 and replicated this year, the full-day event will promote culinary diversity and highlight fun and innovative ways to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle through family-friendly activities around recycling, food waste reduction and other forms of sustainable consumption and lifestyles.
• Discover sustainable food and craft products from more than 40 European and Thai vendors.
• Take part in interactive workshops such as mushroom replanting with REFresh Farm and Host International Thailand, learn about climate change actions through quiz games with Climate Fresk, and natural colour painting and make-up with Amata Chittasenee (Pearypie).
• 17.00-18.00 hours: Watch a cooking show using European and Thai GI recipes and insects! With the EU Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Mr. David Daly, also featuring special guest Cherry Khemupsorn.
The EU Sustainable Food and Craft Market is part of a series of celebratory events in May to celebrate Europe Day and over 60 years of diplomatic relations between the EU and Thailand.
Every year, Europe Day celebrates the Robert Schuman’s Declaration made on 9 May 1950 which proposed a new form of political cooperation in Europe that became the precursor to what is now the EU.
