In this talk, we will give an overview of key concepts, architectures, and technologies that are the foundations of IoT, with the emphasis on network protocols and software aspects, and how they are fit together in the ecosystem of IoT applications. Recent standardisation efforts and challenges in IoT will be presented, as well as use cases and success stories of IoT applications.
