‘JINTA’
Known for intriguing and intense emotional performance, Jinta is dark ambient, folk rock mixing western instruments with traditional Thai sounds and stunning, unique, powerful vocal.
‘View From The Bus Tour’
Inspired by taking bus between provinces, Fender (frontman from ‘Solitude is Bliss’) from Chiangmai conceived ‘View From The Bus Tour’ project influenced by alternative folk. He talks about nature and people surrounding him as he sees through the bus window frame.
‘Youth Brush’
Personal project by Dui (frontman from ‘Two Million Thanks’). He comes with a single guitar and play sincere and simple lyrics. He’s like a fellow who plays a guitar to soothe you to slumberland.
‘Jesada & Prakasit ( Taay and Meth from ‘Aphirom’)
Formed in Sakolnakorn, Jessada and Prakasit are 2 of 3 ‘Aphirom’ members. They play simple acoustic folk with simple-life tales ranging from a heart-broken countryside bride-to-be to just getting a cozy rest day with a glass of beer. Aphorim is quite a phenomenon, their songs became such a hit in Bangkok that many start establishing their songs as ‘Sakolnakorn style’.
‘Penguin Villa’
Formed in 2004, Penguin Villa is personal pop band project of Jay (‘Proud’ and ‘Bua Hima’). His only album that is released 2005 talks about height, flying and getting outside and away from the ground. He and his team recently returned from ten-years-long rest and start performing again. Many of Penguin Villa’s fans will feel like home again.
