งาน Cultural Studies Film กิจกรรมการชมภาพยนตร์และพูดคุยในประเด็นสังคมและวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัยที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับเนื้อหาของภาพยนตร์ จัดโดยคุณวิริยะ สว่างโชติ อาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยและนักเขียน สำหรับในเดือนมีนาคมนี้ ขอเสนอสารคดี Constellation เรื่องราวของการสร้างพื้นที่ทางเลือกในรูปแบบต่างๆที่เกิดขึ้นในเอเชีย

สารคดี Constellation (2015) เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ Yorimichi Caravan ที่เริ่มจากการผลิตสารคดีเรื่อง Book Store เรื่องราวของการสร้างพื้นที่ทางเลือกของคนวัยหนุ่มสาวในญี่ปุ่น หลังจากนั้นโครงการได้เดินทางฉายสารคดีเรื่องดังกล่าวในพื้นที่ทางเลือกในหลายเมืองของเอเชีย พร้อมกับการบันทึกเรื่องราวของพื้นที่ทางเลือกเหล่านั้น ซึ่งได้กลายเป็นสารคดีในชุดที่สองของโครงการที่ชื่อว่า Constellation

A monthly cultural studies session hosted by university lecturer and author Viriya Sawangchot. 'Constellation' explores alternative, artist run spaces throughout Asia. Screening starts at 8pm and will be followed by a casual discussion.

►CONSTELLATION (2015)
Constellation is the documentary film made in the project “Yorimichi Caravan”. In the past, “ Caravan” is used to the world of merchants that connect different areas. Today, with the internaet, LCC, and the development of transportation, the exchanging of unknown and known interactions has been and has created communities on the existing a platform. The Yorimichi Caravan aims to search a mobility of alternative platforms in Asian countries. Shooting in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan, Constellation tells the stories of alternative spaces and artist-run initiatives in these countries.

►VIRIYA SAWANGCHOT
A cultural researcher based in Bangkok, Thailand. He was an API senior fellow (2013-2104), Asian Public Intellectual program, Nippon Foundation, and has previously taught in Cultural Studies program, Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Mahidol University, Thailand.
