We welcome back some old friends Mint in Motion and Jennifer Lackgren, who both last played at Jam 3 years ago at our Garage Sale, Mr E who recently shot a beautiful heartfelt song at Jam and new duo Bear on the Ground Floor consisting of Numan and May, one half of which played at played at the last acoustic session.
Music cut-back to it’s most honest, raw form. Acoustic Session is a monthly Sunday evening session where we invite beautiful folk singer songwriters based in Bangkok to perform on the intimate stage of Jam. There will be focus on solo musicians - many of which may be part of another band, as well as duos.

MINT IN MOTION
Thai folk, dub, singer songwriter from Bangkok. With various experiences in many different types of music, MINT has been involved in many projects in Thailand starting from the year 1998. Mint evolved in music industry starting from Pop to Dub Reggae to Electronica, and is working on her own solo project which is under the crafting process. Mint also currently involving in projects with international artists such as DJ Yas from Japan and had been accredited in Hed Kandi's 'Winter's Chill' compilation as featured vocalist for DJ Seed's English version of the song "To The End" (Sara J's version)-in which the Thai version was delivered by Mint in Motion.

Solo artistic project of Tristan Verran, donning an electric ukulele and a lacy mask Mr E sings from the heart drawing on personal experiences. ‘I also write sexy, cultural commentary for intelligent adults with a sense of humour.’ Zhe will be performing songs from their upcoming album ‘Rock Bottom’ out in October.

BEAR ON THE GROUND FLOOR
Acoustic, synth pop, couple duo band springing about the Bangkok Hardcore scene (believe it or not). Both members, Numan (The Rocket Whale) and May (ex Eccentric Toilet) are still active in the underground music area but wanted to branch off into a lighter direction together with an acoustic and keys.

JENNIFER LACKGREN
Acoustic folk, pop singer, who gained attention nationwide in 2013 when she appeared on the Voice Thailand - is the lead vocalist in Jenny & The Scallywags. She and her band most recently won the Project Aloft Star Amplified by MTV competition, triumphing ahead of over 200 bands from all over South East Asia.
The band released their first EP, featuring their single ‘Sounds Like Maybe’ that was featured on MTV Asia, and continue to be a strong force in Bangkok’s live music scene, with unique performances like their pop-up 7 Sessions, which gather tens of thousands of views online.
