Description
Covid-19 has had a major affect on regional trade flows and foreign direct investment plans. Tractus Asia is a Bangkok headquartered, regional management consultancy that focuses on helping foreign investors succeed in Asia. The Tractus team from Bangkok, Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar will discuss regional trade flows during the pandemic and what Thailand and regional companies are doing together with the actions of governments to support companies through the crisis.

About the Speakers

John Evans, Co-Founder and Managing Director, is a founding partner and the Managing Director of Tractus Asia Ltd. Tractus is an Asia-based advisory providing both public and private sector trade and investment assistance. ​He has been a leader and instrumental in the development of the firm’s four practice areas: Economic Development, Strategy & Implementation; Corporate Finance; and its Tractus business Inc.ubator®.

Udai Panicker, Country Manager – Singapore, returned to Tractus Asia Ltd. in March 2018 as the Country Manager for Singapore after having spent four years earlier with Tractus in India (2011-2015). Prior to re-joining Tractus, Mr. Panicker spent close to three years in Singapore’s start-up space where he gained invaluable experience in product management, brand building and generating revenue for technology firms offering Software/Platform-as-a-Service (SaaS/PaaS)

Christoph Lam, Country Manager – Vietnam, joined Tractus Asia in 2020 in Vietnam to lead business development and the consulting practice. Areas of expertise: strategy consulting and efficient go-to-market strategies in Vietnam. It also includes experience in deal advisory, marketing and research. Industry expertise: healthcare, garment, industrial goods and financial services among others

James Meisenheimer, Country Manager – Myanmar, has advised investment decisions for clients representing companies in the construction, pharmaceutical, agriculture and F&B sectors by providing these clients with detailed market research, site location strategies, regulatory analysis, as well as strategies for implementing the optimal decision.
