          งานร้อคหาทุนช่วยเหลือโครงการเกาะสัก​ ซึ่งเป็นโครงการของอาจารย์​เวนย์​ ฟิลิพส์ อาจารย์​ประจำคณะสิ่งเเวดล้อม​ศาสตร์​ วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ​มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล​ ซึ่งโดยปกติอาจารย์​เวนย์จะพานักศึกษา​ไปช่วยศึกษา​กลยุทธ์​ในการช่วยกันทำให้หาดเกาะสักสะอาดจากมลพิษที่เกิดจากถุงพลาสติก​ ขยะพลาสติก​เหล่านี้ไม่เพียงบ่อนทำลายทัศนียภาพ​ของเกาะเเต่ยังส่งผลกระทบทั้งทางตรงเเละทางอ้อมต่อระบบนิเวศ​ของหาด​ น้ำทะเลเเละสัตว์​ทะเล​ งานร้อคเพื่อหลามจึงมีจุดประสงค์​ในการสร้างความตระหนักในการลดใช้ถุงพล้าสติกเเละจึงได้ประสานงานกับทางอาจารย์​เวนย์ในการร่วมกันสร้างความตระหนักถึงผลกระทบเชิงลบของการใช้ถุงพล้าสติ​กที่มีต่อระบบนิเวศ​ของหาด​ ทะเลเเละสัตว์​ทะเล​ 
งานร้อคเพื่อหลามครั้งนี้​ มีวงร้อคเเละเมทัลอินดี่เเนวหน้าของไทยสิบสองวงมาร่วมเป็นกระบอกเสียงในการสร้างความตระหนักของการพัฒนาลดการใช้ถุงพล้าสติกเเละ​ระบบนิเวศของชายหาด​ ทะเลเเละสัตว์​ทะเลอย่างยั่งยืน​


This time for another cause:
A charity concert to create awareness about the high uses of plastic bags which resulted in the high wastes and pollution, affecting many oceanographical concerns. As Thailand becomes the 3rd largest country which releases plastic wastes into the sea. The promoter’ aims are to provide indie/underground artists to perform while at the same time play for a cause to advocate against uses of plastics which have direct and indirect negative impacts on the oceanographical ecosystem, including the recent whale which consumed 80 plastic bags. Rock4Sharks is also intended to advocate that the coastal areas and marine animals in the country can also be directly and indirectly endangered by all of our increased consumption of plastic bags. 
This time we have a range of some of Bangkok notorious headbangers playing together.

Event Entry fees: 250/ (all sales deduct costs to be funded “Project Koh Sak”, initiated by Dr. Wayne Phillips, Faculty of natural science, Mahidol University International College (MUIC) 
Freebies: get a free Shark Cool Bite (limited supplies for early birds)

Event Theme: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
No plastics allowed in venue.
