Accelerating Asia is coming to Myanmar to recruit for our next cohort of startups for our ASEAN-Australia Smart Cities Accelerator.

Join us for this one night in your city to pitch your startup to our team for a chance to skip the application process and get your startup shortlisted to our Top 50 interview stage. We’re looking for startups with a focus on developing smart cities solutions.

JOIN THE PITCH COMPETITION
✅ Startups will have 1 minute to pitch to the ASEAN-Australia Smart Cities Accelerator team. 
✅ Arrive and Register for the Pitch Competition on the day 
✅ The winner of the Pitch Competition will go through to the Top 50 interview stage
✅ To enter the Pitch Competition, startups must arrive by 6pm to register

✅ 5pm - 5:30pm: Arrival & Registration
✅ 5:30pm - 6:30pm: Masterclass by Nesh Sooriyan-Larsen (more info below)
✅ 6:30pm - 7pm: Pitch Competition
✅ 7pm to 8pm: Networking

About the Masterclass:
"How to raise $1.4million in 30 days” is a breakdown of the perfect storm of elements that lead to a pre-product company raising $1.4M in 30 days. Nesh Sooriyan-Larsen, our Entrepreneur in Residence, will be openly sharing elements and insights on early stage capital raising that are often held in experience though seldom spoken about.

About the ASEAN-Australia Smart Cities Accelerator:
The ASEAN-Australia Smart Cities Accelerator (ASCA) is a startup accelerator program supported by the Australian Government and implemented by Accelerating Asia.

ASCA aims to provide startups from ASEAN countries with the opportunity and resources to take things to the next level. Two-thirds of the world’s population will be living in cities by 2050, according to the United Nations. This will put immense pressure on cities to provide everyday essentials like clean air, affordable and safe public transport, and reliable infrastructure. There is still a lot of work to be done and we believe startups are uniquely positioned to tackle the challenges cities face today and in the future.
