HAVE YOU HEARD? เอาใจสาย lo-fi และ indie pop กับวงโปรดในดวงใจที่ใคร ๆ ก็ถามถึง Ducktails จะมาบรรเลงเพลงสุดผ่อนคลายให้เราได้ล่องลอยไปในงานล่าสุดของเขาที่งาน #HYHBKK Live! with Ducktails -- วันศุกร์ที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน นี้

มั่นใจว่าทุกคนต้องโดนมนต์สะกดจากเพลงของ Ducktails หรือ Matt Mondanile (อดีตมือกีตาร์วง Real Estate) กันมาแล้วจากเพลง Letter Of Intent หรือ Surreal Exposure แต่ในปี 2017 นี้เขาได้ปล่อยสตูดิโออัลบั้มชุดที่หกใหม่ออกมาในชื่อ Jersey Devil กับ 10 เพลงฟังสบายเหมือนเคย แต่มีลูกเล่นและส่วนผสมสีสันใหม่ ๆ มาให้เราได้เซอร์ไพรส์ในทุกแทร็ค ตั้งแต่ neo-psychedelia ใน Light a Candle และ Keeper of the Garden ที่มีกิมมิกเท่หรือท่อนสุดกรูฟชวนโยก ไปจนถึง jangle pop ใน In the Hallway น่ารักฟังเพลินหยุดไม่ได้ หรือเพลงบีทสนุกที่ต้องผงกหัวตามอย่าง Lover เรียกว่าครบรสจริง ๆ 

และพิเศษมาก ๆ ที่งานนี้ไม่ได้มีแค่ Ducktails แต่เราจะได้ดูโชว์จาก 파라솔 Parasolวงดนตรีจากเกาหลีใต้กับสไตล์เพลงสุดเยื้องย่างที่เหมือนคลานตามกันมาไม่มีผิด รวมถึง temp. tropical pop เจ้าบ้านที่กำลังเป็นที่พูดถึงมากที่สุดในขณะนี้

Fans of American lo-fi and indie pop music should be pleased to know that HAVE YOU HEARD? will bring one of the best groups of its genre, Ducktails, to perform for Thai audiences for the first time at #HYHBKK Live! with Ducktails this coming November 17.

Ducktails is the one-man band project of Matthew Mondanile, also known as the former guitarist for New Jersey's indie pop Real Estate. Although Real Estate was his main band he co-founded with childhood friends Martin Courtney and Alex Bleeker around 2009, Mondanile had started his solo project long before that. At 22 years old, Mondanile started releasing his own cassette albums and 7-inch records on various independent labels with instrumental music combining elements of experimental pop, psychedelia and surf music with unique lo-fi production. He then moved away from improvised experiments towards pop on his third studio album Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamics in 2011 on the Woodsist label, when he scored indie pop chart hits with pop singles like "Killin the Vibe", "Art Vandelay", and then again with "The Flower Lane" and “Letter of Intent” from The Flower Lane LP in 2013.

Ducktails recently dropped their 6th studio album Jersey Devil and will bring some of their latest pop tunes from the new album such as “Light a Candle,” “Keeper of the Garden” and “In the Hallway” to play for Thai fans along with support by exciting opening acts Parasol from South Korea, and up and coming local pop group Temp.
