Talk Outline
In 2016 we have seen a wave of chatbots flooding the market. In this talk we will assess which domains are suitable for conversational interfaces by looking at what factors drive a successful chatbot application. Secondly, we will have a look at the chatbot toolkit. We will explore how to choose the right communication channel and decide which technological infrastructure to code with. We’ll also have a look at how to build a corpus and how to measure performance of a chatbot. In the third part of the talk we will give some insight into what have been the major challenges for us while building our corporate travel bot Claire. Subsequently, we will elaborate on the difference between chatbots and A.I. assistants and look at new business opportunities in the data economy.
