SoulVilla will be a theatre production featuring Bangkok’s most prolific poets and collaborating with the best of Bangkok’s musical talent to bring a fusion of poetry and music unlike any seen in this city!

Human Language, when distilled to its most basic principles, exists as a set of agreements between a group of speakers who have all agreed to ascribe specific meaning to certain symbols and sounds.

The focus of this SoulVilla production will be on presenting an array of spoken languages, using music and poetry as the vehicle by which we will then explore and experiment with new ways to negotiate organic agreements that go beyond those that were handed to us through our inherited languages. Along the way we will tell an ancient, but familiar, tale of love and peace blossoming between two likely enemies.
