THRIVING ON FAILURE
Edison tried more than 10,000 times to create a light bulb, Dyson attempted around 5,126 times to invent a bag-less vacuum cleaner and of course there is Henry Ford. Henry Ford was the founder of the Ford Motor company. Not many people are aware that he was known as an intelligent, yet failed engineer who just couldn’t produce. His need to perfect every product he created led to late deliveries to customers that tarnished his early reputation. But it was these early failures that taught him valuable lessons and sparked his future success. Failure is obviously a necessary stepping stone to achieving our dreams. It is a simple truth that no great success was ever achieved without failure.

Let’s come together at Fuckup Nights Bangkok and learn from each other.

“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Thomas A. Edison

Fuckup Nights started in 2012 in Mexico City. The idea is to share business failures publicly so that a broad audience has a chance to learn from them. Three speakers will have 7 minutes and 10 slides to share their business failures. After each speaker, there will be sufficient time for a question/answer session. We highly encourage networking before and after the speakers' presentations.

Meanwhile, Fuckup Nights has become an international movement. Almost all big cities over the world are hosting them: New York, Rio, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Berlin, Sydney, Auckland, London, Kuala Lumpur and now in September, after our first successful Fuckup Nights, we, a few Professors and students from Bangkok University, are proud to say that we are brining the second edition of Fuckup Nights to you right here in Bangkok.

Hundreds of people attend these events to hear entrepreneurs share their failures and learn from them; so can you.
