Ooredoo and UNDP, with Impact Hub’s facilitation, organized the Hackathon 2018 on 8-9 December simultaneously in Yangon and Mandalay to provide a platform for Myanmar’s youth to showcase their innovative mobile applications that can help accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals in Myanmar.
The three winning teams – Deca, Divas, and Blind Hat – honed their entrepreneurial skills and reinforced their products through a series of training sessions, first through the Empretec Entrepreneurship Training Program in December 2018, jointly organized by Ooredoo, UNCTAD, and UNDP, and then through the Business Incubation Program, from March to June 2019, organized by Impact Hub in collaboration with Ooredoo and UNDP.
As a final milestone of the Incubation Program, the winners will be pitching their products on the Demo Day. We are pleased to invite you to this exciting event, and would be delighted if you could support these ready-to-grow startups by providing feedback and considering their products opportunities to invest.
